What is the Depot Charging Scheme?
The Depot Charging Scheme part funds the charging infrastructure that lets fleets run battery electric vans, HGVs and coaches from their own depots.It is a £170 million Department for Transport programme running to 2030. Vehicles are not included in the depot charging scheme, but could be eligible for the Zero Emission Van and Truck Grant
Terms are yet to be confirmed. In the last window the grant covered 70% of charge point and civil costs, up to £1 million across all sites, with one application per organisation and no limit on the number of sites.
